Teamwork
We're a small team of around 30 people so each of us has an important role to play. Without the hard work and commitment of everyone working for us we couldn't possibly have achieved so much so quickly. Brief information about the executive directors of Mark Hammerton Group Ltd is given below. They are ably supported by two non-executive directors and a strong management team.

Mark first became involved in the camping travel business in 1983 and after a period running French Country Camping and studying for an MBA, became Marketing Director of Eurocamp in 1997. He chose to leave the 'corporate world' behind and launched this business in 1999.
Russell Wheldon, Commercial Director

Russell has been involved in travel since 1992, including time spent as Customer Acquisitions Manager at Eurocamp. A marketing professional and holder of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma, he enjoys playing sport and cycling with the family at weekends.
Rod Wheat, Campsites Director

With more than 20 years' experience, Rod is well known in the camping and caravanning industry. Also a former Eurocamp and French Country Camping manager, Rod is responsible for ensuring sound relationships with the 3,500 campsites in the Alan Rogers guides.

A Law graduate with a good deal of experience away from the travel industry, Nicole has direct responsibility for the despatch and bookings administration functions. She is also responsible for the finance department.

Cornel first became involved with the travel industry in the early nineties and later spent time with an ICT company and on freelance marketing projects. Based at our office near Amersfoort, he is responsible for Alan Rogers Marketing, our growing campsite marketing sales operation.
